Faquza Update, Gaming News, and Random Opinions

Hey there followers, I haven’t updated this in a while and I figured today is just as good as any other day to do so. So I have started capturing more gameplay of things not on stream and the first I decided to start with was the Battlefield Hardline beta.

The beta is very stable and pretty fun as the cops and robbers theme works well and gives the gaming public a breather instead of more military garble garble. I mean it’s still Battlefield but the new stuff Visceral is putting in the game is going to at least make it kind of fun like the grappling hook and the zipline. I have a video coming up on it but be forewarned: I didn’t realize how much my computer sucked at taking the recording so dropped frames ahoy. Thankfully the editing process is going to it’s not going to be god awful.

In other news, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark kinda blows.

 In reality:

Yep, my experience with this so far summed up in a single picture.

Nowhere near as good as the games by Dark Moon Studios, this game attempts to bring the stories of the games and the movies together. That in itself is a novel idea but the execution is… well… not good. I understand the Unreal engine is really flexible and easy to do many types of games with but for the love of Nolan North’s fingernail why does it make some developers seem to be lazy? This is the PS4 VERSION BTW. So flat textures, mehhhh third person shooting, and the memory that Michael Bay is still directing the movies… -Sigh-

In happier news, The Last of Us Remastered has release date: July 29th and a price point of $49.99 USD, The Order 1888 has not one but two collectors editions, Sunset Overdrive is looking more and more nifty and fun by each promo put out for it, and GIVE ME MORTAL KOMBAT X NOW! I’m really looking forward to it.
